The Great Divide

s the title indicates, this is my article archives. It's rather sparse right now, but not because I haven't been writing. In fact, it's because I've been writing and not publishing that makes it look that way.

You'll see a lot more added in the very near future.

In one form or another, 99% of the articles that I post here are marketing and relational-sales based. Those that appear on the outset to belong to a more personal journal or blog genre`, generally have marketing wisdom woven into them.

Relationships, after all, have the basic ingredients necessary for sales training built in. You have the give and take, the bargaining, the costs involved in all human interaction, and the resolutions that hopefully lead to win-win situations. That should be the goal of each and every negotiation you take part in.

As I said, most of these articles are online sales and marketing oriented. I do however, reserve the right to be human and write about whatever happens to fall from my pencil, but I'm confident you'll enjoy those too.

You're more than welcome to borrow and re-publish these articles in any format or media you choose, provided the bylines remain intact and the links stay live.

If you would like to be notified when I add material, make sure you sign up for my newsletter Tools-N-Tales so you'll have first crack at them.

And if you would like to contact me with any input, I can always be reached at my contact page .

I look forward to hearing from you.

Summary - Examining customer buying habits is as old as selling itself. In pre-historic times, Mr. Slate could have watched Fred Flintstone's buying habits, invested in Bronto Burgers, and made a killing off Fred alone. All he needed to do was make them more accessible to Fred.
