Dave Franzwa and the love of his life, THE EDITOR!

Hi. Dave Franzwa, Editor of WorkatHomeSupertips, here. And that's my wife Carrie, also know as "The Editor!"

As a wife, she can't be beat. Give her a red pen and my devoted, loving wife becomes a lingual contender for the Worldwide Wrestling Federation;-)

I'll try to keep it brief, but you have to understand, I actually enjoy writing. In fact, I enjoy it so much that I'm working out the details for a newsletter. I call it a newsletter only because "article-letter" sounds funny; but that's primarily what it will be, an article-letter.

Articles that I've composed to illustrate how entrepreneurialism, writing, success principles, internet marketing, and plain old life can be tied together in such a fashion that anyone with an IQ this side of a turnip will be able to relate to it.

Hopefully my bio will be enough to entice you to sign up for my article list, where I'll be free to explain myself more fully.

That said, here I am:

The man behind the curtain

I'm a writer.  A poet on-line, if you will.
I make profit from words
turned to wisdom-filled phrases,
with headlines for which some would kill.

(Sorry, poetic habits are hard to break;-)

I am, however, somewhat of a minstrel when it comes to writing.  I enjoy the written word, and the patterns of logical persuasion that, when mixed with the tempo that runs through my soul, connects with my readers on an emotional level, and allows me to better relate with them.

(Some would say that's metaphysical, and while I never met a physical I didn't like, I prefer the term supernatural.   It's a gift, doncha know.:-)

I still believe in heros, and though my favorite hero, my dad, passed on a few years ago, I still find him influencing many of the decisions I make today.

He and Mom taught me to be partriotic, and I am.  To this day I get a lump in my throat when I hear "The Star Spangled Banner" played, and am reminded of the tremendous sacrifices that have been and are being made to insure our freedom here in these grand United States of America.

I know people in many other countries, and am grateful to count several of them as friends, but I'm proud to be an American, and have no desire to live anywhere else but where "Old Glory" is flown.

My folks taught me patience.

(Umm, scratch that.  I think it was the other way around;-)

They taught me that it's OK not to appreciate your kids' music, and even though they didn't always like who I was listening to (the Beatles, Hendrix, Clapton, Led Zeplin, etc.), I find today that some of their favorites (the Old Rugged Cross, John Phillips Sousa marches, Glenn Miller, etc.) are in fact some of my favorites too.

Some of my peers look down upon anything sentimental as being trite, and beneath them. In my sensitive and humble opinion...

Balderdash!!

I appreciate words and images that touch upon matters of the heart. I believe that's where the real and crucial, life-changing work happens. If something sentimental will help to get a point across, you can bet I'll use it.

And for those who look down upon others for their sentimentalism, I won't hold that against them. They have every right in the world to be wrong;-)

OK. So I'm known to be a little opinionated at times. We all have that right.

I think (and there have been many studies to back it up) that music, laughter and humor are therapeutic; and I will sing, laugh, and crack jokes until the day that I die. And with as much of the above therapy as I take part in on a daily basis, you could be stuck with me for a good long while.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with infusing business with those same concepts.  After all, if you don't enjoy what you're doing, why bother?

Yeah! I really do use one of these ancient writing utensils for my rough drafts;-)

Well, that's about all I'm going to say here for now, except that if you want to find out more about what I feel is important in life and work (on-line and off,) as well as what I think will benefit you, sign up for my "article request" list which you can find at:

Editor's copy and I'll see that you get on my "articles only" list. DF
