Idea Tools for Your Online VentureI've been told to steer clear of the internet marketing niche. It wasn't as if it was a warning with any sort of implied threat, it was more like an older brother offering advice to keep me from getting hurt, because the internet marketing niche is a tough nut to crack. It's not that I don't appreciate the advice, but I just can't help myself. I'm one of those "types" who just can't get his fill of information. I've got to soak up every last drop that I can wrap my mind around. I know. That shouldn't take long, Dave...Right? ;-) To me, everything in this niche called "internet marketing" is just so doggoned interesting, I just can't stay away. And seeing as you've come far enough with me to reach this page, I suspect you're probably in the same boat. Or dangerously close to it;-) If that's the case, if you didn't accidentally stumble across this page, you're about to find a whole bloody chest of information that deals directly with several aspects of the marketing arena. Awhile back, I was introduced to a young man from Great Brittain (well, younger than me, anyway;-) who has astounded me by the speed with which he cranks out new products as well as information with valuable business implications. Each of his creations, at least the ones I've scooped up on, are tremendously helpful to growing businesses. I don't know that I'd go so far as to say "brilliant" (I wouldn't want to see his head swell, or give him any reason to rest on his laurels;-), but he really has impressed me. Follow me for a bit and I'll summarize one of his ideas for you. Once you see the list of items he's punched out to help you succeed online, and the training material he supplies for each one so that you can capitalize on his efforts, I know you'll agree with me that he's a born leader with a knack for success. Ready? OK. Let's go! Getting serious about your marketing efforts? If so, you'd best start thinking (if you haven't already done so) about creating your own newsletter or ezine. In order to build a loyal base of folks interested in your products or services, you have to stay in touch with them. The absolute best way to do that is by keeping yourself in front of them by way of a newsletter or ezine. As you've probably noticed by now, I believe that people relate better to other people with similar styles. Believe it or not, there are folks "out there" right now that are waiting for your style to present itself. What better way can you think of to allow them the chance to sample your style, than by giving them the opportunity to sign up for a newsletter that you've put together in order to relate to them? Listen to this. There are some folks out there who won't buy from, or even listen to anybody else but you, because they'll relate to your style better than anyone else's. They just don't know it yet. That's powerfull! But how do you get started? What will you say to them? How can you place information into your newsletter that leads to sales, without it sounding like just another commercial? How can you develop a list of fiercly loyal subscribers? Where do you send your newsletter once it's written, and how? Michael has the answers to these questions and much, much more in one of his flagship reference manuals. Read, in Michael's own words, and those of some of his extremely satisfied customers by going to How can I create a newsletter? Hold on! Don't take off just yet. Before you make a decision of whether you'd like his well-written reference on newsletters, come back here and take a look at his equally noteworthy reference on "ezines." You can find that at How can I create an ezine?Check them both out and compare which of the two would suit your development plans the best. In fact, just checking them out may help to solidify those plans. Dave - Wordwrangler
