n your quest to determine what exactly it is you will do, I will make one suggestion.
Place on your list of priorities an ultimate goal to create your own information product.
Whether it's a How-To Guide, a Step-by-Step Guide, an Email Course, a book, or what have you, at this point it doesn't matter.
What does matter, is that you get that goal driven into your head. Into your sub-conscious. Better yet, into your very soul.
Plant it like a seed, deep down, and let it marinate in the juices of your passion. If you've convinced yourself that you can't write, hang around and let me prove otherwise.
Anyone can write! Obviously, some can write better than others, but that's where practice comes into play. It doesn't matter a whit if it's not perfect. If you're after perfection, it's not going to happen without divine intervention. So, if that's what's holding you back, get over it! (More on this later.)
Our feeblest attempt to communicate with others is worth far more than no attempt whatsoever!
Now I could add a description of what you'll get out of the book, but the title says it all.
I've gotta tell you, Jim is quite a character. He's like an animated version of himself. He's also got an inspiring "rags-to-riches" background. So, if you want some proof that this kind of business can turn your life around, just look to Jim. Great example, and a fun guy to interact with.
Here's what one marketer that I truly respect has to say about the book:
Next time you meet somebody at a party - how about telling them you're a best-selling author?
Has a nice ring to it, don't you think?
You bet! Well, that's exactly what can happen with Jim and Joe's new guide. You could get bragging rights in as little as a week (plus, a whole wad of money to boot).
Ebook publishing has changed my life and maybe it will for you too. You'd better believe if I was starting out today - I'd grab this ebook right away for a turbo boost!
Who knows! You may be the next Shakespeare, only better paid;-)
Once you've gone through some of the information I'm aiming you at, you will come to a point where your idea will gel and take on a life of its own.
Now, we're going to focus solely on information products because:
They're easy to create
They're inexpensive to create
You don't have to reproduce them
People want and need them
They can cover the spectrum as far as subject matter goes
They're easy to track
You don't have to worry about storage or shipping
and...
Well, I could go on, but I think you can catch the drift of why I work with information products.
With that in mind, let me guide you a little deeper into the world of info-product creation, with the help of a friend.
I'd like to introduce you to a gentleman it's has been my pleasure to have made contact with. Terry Markle. He's compiled a guide with the input of 14 authors on the subject of helping you to investigate and discover your forte. Your strong points. Your niche on the net.
Though much has been said about "niche" creation in the last couple of years, this compendium on the subject is an excellent source of reference that I recommend you study. It's got solid information that focuses on introducing you to research tools, and offers insight and pointers that will enable you to figure out what to create. They'll walk you through the development stages and lead you into what to do with what you find.
In other words, these 14 authors will show you how to come up with, develop, promote, and sell your product on line.

If you'd like to get something going now, you might do well to consider an affiliate program to tide you over, giving you some marketing practice, while you're working on your "ultimate goal" of creating a product of your own.
NOTE: An affiliate program is one in which you, as a member, promote someone else's product, usually a ready-made information product, in return for a percentage of the sale.
ALSO NOTE: "Up and running fast" is a relative term, so while setting up and operating a successfull business venture online so that you can work at home isn't brain surgery, there are certain parts of the operation that are necessary. For a brief list and descriptions of what those are, see my Work at Home Laundry List.
For now, I recommend just scanning the laundry list to give yourself a little familiarity with what's on it. Before you start digging into that list though, I want you to walk with me a little ways down The Second Path, Marketing Your Product(s). , because you need to get an overview of both paths in order to decide which way you want to go first.

After all, don't all of our relationships involve sales? Just ask to get the lawn mowed without a "bonus," and see where it gets you;-)
