Web Design Reference

Time and again you've heard it said that you're only limited by your own imagination.  That, in my humble opinion, is very true.

Not to rain on that imagination parade, but realistically we are also limited by certain things not under our immediate control.  The last time I tried to stretch twenty-four hours into twenty-eight, I ran into a limit.  There are only twenty-four of them in any given day.

I, for one, believe that people should know their limitations.  For instance, I'm personally not a grand master at web design.  My forte is wrestling with words and emotions (not necessarily in that order).  I'm a poet at heart.  But I will say that just about everything necessary that I've learned about web design, I learned with Web Design Mastery, and Notepad opened in front of me.

I've learned quite a bit from others too, but Shelley gave me the foundation.

Not only is this a great reference guide in website creation, but Shelley's included a terrific section on web tips, including html tips, at the end of the book.

I still open up this great book when I run into a problem, just need refreshing, or have a little study time on my hand.

As far as I'm concerned, this is a must-have desk-top reference.  It's the web design bible, and Shelley wrote the book (no blasphemy intended :-).

You can get it at:

For all the information it contains, it's also the least expensive of the truly worth-while guides that I've found.

Go for it!
