Where I’m Going With This

I’ve been involved in sales and marketing of one sort or another most of my life. That’s one profession the words you use create the difference between success and failure.

Guess what?

The same goes for any profession!

The words you choose are your vehicle for communication, and communication (or the lack of it) will either make or break you.

For years I’ve used my gift of gab primarily to help others sell their products or services.

Well, I’ve decided to turn my God-given talents in another direction:

I believe this country (USA) was founded on the spirit of entrepreneurialism. The freedom to persue your passions in an attempt to make them pay off.

And there are all sorts of pay offs!

Success isn’t just about money, and although that may be an important part of the equation, it’s certainly not the most important part.

Success is a whole life attitude.

It’s about happiness, security, fulfillment, and often it’s simply about placing one foot in front of the other in preparation for

The next step!

My next step will be to do what I love to do. Write.

I’ll be writing about some of what’s going on in my world.

Sometimes it will be oriented toward sales and marketing. Advice, training, and ideas.

At times it will be poetic, because life sometimes is.

Other times it will be philosophic or spiritual because we need that side of things too.

And some times it will include musings, opinions, and humor, because I think you’ll find that’s what helps bind and solidify relationships.

You may not believe exactly the same way someone else does, but you might respond to life’s experiences the same way. And that brings you closer.

If you can laugh about it, all the better!

I’ll organize as I go, but many times the personal will overlap the professional.

And I do consider myself a professional.

A professional human.

You see. I’m not a poet at one time, and a sales trainer at another. I’m not a comedian and then a philosopher.

I’m Dave Franzwa, and those traits are as much a part of me as my brown eyes and ruggedly handsome features.  (Just kidding. My eyes are blue;-)

The point is, all those traits are part of the whole package that is me.

I’m just a merely mortal marketer who enjoys communicating what I see, feel, think, and know.

Given half a chance, I’ll touch you from that place between words and emotions, attempt to lift you up, and encourage you to be true to yourself and others, by being yourself.

And unless you’ve experienced a laughectomy, you’re bound come away with a number of those, too.

Without anything crude or vulgar.

Now. If you can put up with who and what I am, that’s just ducky.  We should have a great time.

And if you can’t

What’re you still doing here?

More later, God willing & the creek don’t rise,

Dave
